Decentish flight, good over Canada, lightly bumpy over the ocean as you're riding the jet stream over, but smoothing out just past the halfway point. A few light bumps in the area of just west / southwest of the UK and over Europe, and into CDG
Forecast was spot on! Bumps were minimal until 30 minutes off Ireland, but even then it was light at best, although the flight deck announced they were expecting MOD and seemed to have to avoid some big clouds.
Interesting thing on Air Canada (first time flying them) - every time the seatbelt sign came on, a flight attendant loudly announced "TURBULENCE, put your seatbelts on!" over the PA in English and French. As the sign was on and off lots of the flight, it was hard to get any sleep with all the noise and it seemed unnecessarily alarming for people who maybe don't fly much or don't like turbulence.
