I kept an eye on the forecasts and was pretty sure this flight was not going to be great. Pilot confirmed that for me when he made his announcement "I've been working with my dispatchers to re-route us we'll do the best we can but weather across the country is going to make this a bumpy ride". Thankfully lie flat business class seats and a few gin and tonics helped me to sleep for most of the flight. We started out at 27,000 feet to avoid turbulence for the first hour then climbed to 33,000. Fell asleep after the first hour but woke up a few times and we were being bounced around pretty good. Finally woke up to the pilot announcement "flight attendants please prepare for landing".
